Every day we get to see a whole lot of really great designs and collections and one of the most interesting things for us is to see the differences that exist between the different parts of the world. Depending on where the design is different things might be needed to accommodate for different things like weather or lack of space. The latter definitely comes into play in Japan and they have to utilize their small space as well as they can. They today we are going to look at an example of that with this Wooden Residence.
This house which was designed by Mizuishi Architects Atelier was built to accommodate a mother and father with two little girls and two dogs as well as three cats. Wood is the most prominent material that has been used here on this house that covers 108 m² and a great job has been done here to make the wood look very elegant. There is an excellent use of space going on here and you never even know that this house takes up barely more than 100 m².
